Planning a new kitchen can seem daunting but even the tightest space can be used to create a great kitchen with careful planning and quality execution. To start planning your new interior I would recommend getting some inspiration, visualise the space and what you would like to achieve. We find Houzz (www.houzz.co.uk) a great place to start as you can refine your search by room, style and even colour scheme. Pinterest (www.pinterest.com) also has hundreds of useful ideas for both contemporary and traditional kitchens. Creating your own mood board with colours and designs is a great idea too.
As wonderful and inspiring these images can be it is worth mentioning that some things come at a price. I have worked on kitchens that could cost upwards of £100,000. Luckily we can advise and select materials that minimise the costs and still deliver the wow factor finish whilst giving you the options to indulge in luxury touches.
Our Process – A One-stop Shop Solution
Our planning process starts and ends with you. During our initial design meeting, we spend time with you in your kitchen. This lets us see the space and how you use it and what is possible. Your designer will be with you from the initial meeting to the final inspection. We pride ourselves on delivering one point of contact throughout with no delays. We have modern and traditional kitchen catalogues to make choosing a new style easier and we present these in our own brochure to show you what we do best. Then we will discuss items that are essential to your new kitchen and create a wish list of some items you would love to have added in. Drawing on years of experience and sourcing our own materials means we will be able to estimate costs of items on the spot and give you a guide price for the work needed. Sometimes other work such as plumbing, tiling and electrical work is needed and we have qualified, insured tradesmen for every job and the price they quote for these supplementary works is the price to the customer, we do not add any money on for supporting trades and better still we organise and book all the trades in too, saving you the hassle. This project managed service is vital to a smooth project being delivered on time and to full satisfaction.
Once agreed and designed, we take a deposit to secure the deals and book in the workforce around your timescale. Some bespoke options and detailed designs can take 8-10 weeks to produce and install so please think of this when looking at installation dates.
